Use of BugSnaps

BugSnaps is a bug-report capture tool for developers, testers, and clients. Users are responsible for reviewing reports before sharing them, especially when screenshots may contain confidential information.

Report Content

Reports may include user-written descriptions, reproduction steps, screenshots, page URL and title, browser and device details, viewport size, console messages, and optional network request metadata. Users are responsible for choosing which sections to include and for avoiding the capture of information they are not authorized to share.

Accounts and Tokens

Owner tokens are for account owners. Project capture tokens can be shared with clients or testers and only allow report creation for the selected project. Regenerate tokens if they are exposed or no longer needed.

Billing

Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe. Plan limits are enforced server-side for saved reports. Local-only Markdown copies are not stored by BugSnaps.

Acceptable Use

Do not use BugSnaps to collect sensitive information without consent, violate site policies, monitor users without notice, or capture data you are not authorized to access. Do not use public share links to publish confidential, regulated, or personal information unless you have the right to do so.

Diagnostics and Availability

BugSnaps may log dashboard, browser, and API errors to diagnose failures and improve reliability. The service is provided as a practical reporting tool, and users should keep their own backups of important reports and exports.
